Tankless Water Heater

Hi Ya'll, Was Just Wondering If Anyone Has Installed A Tankless Water Heater Horizonally? My Instructions Don't Say One Way Or The Other. Due To Space I'd Love To Mount It By The Old 6gl Tank Vent Hole. I Have The Excel 1.6gl Lp Model Which Arrived Today.

Let us know how that works out, I'd love to replace my 6G tank with a tankless system if it works..!
