[charlieintexas] About to have my first RV experience (a rental Class C).
What pitfalls do I need to avoid?
What is really important to remember? Driving differences?

    The Pitfalls

[gdauth] Don&#039t over load it. Remember that this thing is a truck, so it doesn&#039t stop or handle like your car. Be careful when you go down hills, use the gears to keep your speed down to a safe level. Don&#039t tailgate. Remember that wind and passing trucks can make it hard to handle your rig. Be aware of what is arround you. Look up, that low bridge or tree branch can ruin tour day. Make sure that your tires are in good shape and properly inflated. Turn the gas appliances off before entering a gas station, or better yet don&#039t travel with them on.
