timing on the 454

whats the best way you guys have come up with on timing the motor homes, is there a trick or is it by ear. if so what are you listening for?

I always listen for the calculator adding up the cost when the tech finished up timing it.. Sorry just could help myself on that one. But Nash has the right idea, use a timing light.
