We are interested in buying a 5th wheel and would like to know if we can pull a boat behind it. We have a F350 Ford crew cab. Do we have to be careful with length of the 5th wheel we buy? Thanks.

Hi Shadow, your best bet is to check with your state dept of trans. it is allowed in MN. 5th wheel max is 28' with a max. of 60 feet for all 3 units. Many states don't allow it. Happy trails GB

Some state do not allow tandum trucks, never mind trailers pulling boats. I have never seen this in any of the New England states.

Look in woodall's or most any campground book & they list the requirments for each state. I have pulled my boat behind my 5th wheel with no problem.
