Triton V-10 Motor Advice

Hi,

My dad is thinking about purchasing a 1999 Georgie Boy Pursuit 32QB and it has the Triton V-10 motor in it, was wondering what others experiences were with this motor.....like pros and cons.

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, Pansy!

We have a V-10 in ours. It's in a Ford E-450. We have had no problems with it at all. It has good power at 60 mph. Around 8.5 mpg, though.

Ours is a 2005. I believe I heard that there were some problems with older models.

I had the V-10 in a 2000 Coachmen, 37'. Not bad. The only time I noticed power loss was going over the Rockies around Butte, Montana. Clodhopper is doing better with mpg than I did. 5 1/2 to 6.0 is all that I got. If the motor has no leaks or does not smoke I would have faith in it. Good Luck and Happy Travels.
