While driving down the highway @ 65 mph I get an instantaneous hiccup in power but never lose power. At the same moment of the hiccup there is a spastic (instantaneous) movement of the speedometer needle (upward). When this problem shows itself, it usually happens every 15 to 30 seconds apart.

This usually happens when I have it on cruise control and the jake break on. This anomaly happens at various times and on various trips. If I do not use the cruise or the jake brake the problem does not occur. Does this sound like a bad sensor? How do I resolve this problem? Has anyone out there had simiar experiences? Thanks for your imput. Jim

Welcome to the forum Jim. Could be a TPS problem. Keep checking your post. Danny Barton may be able to give you better answer.
