Truck Camper 6 Pole wiring to "hot"

Want to wire my truck camper 6 pole plug/harness so that it is "hot" when the harness is connected to the camper for incidental/emergency electrical use. RV dealer installed it this way for me for my last truck (with fuse), but harness directions for new truck did not give me this option. Came in handy several times...ie, lights on in the camper at rest stops at night, kids go potty in the middle of nowhere (with lights on of course)...you get the picture. Yes, killed truck battery in storage several times, but worth it. Please recommend a location for a kill switch to this circuit if possible as it would be handy and prevent some of the above issue. Thanks.
