TV SHOW

Hi

I work for a TV company that makes shows for the BBC and US networks.

I'm developing a TV show which follows the day to day runnings of a family-run RV / Trailer Park.

I'm really keen to speak to individuals who own or have stayed at a large, family run park, preferably of 3 generations.

I'm currently at the research stage of this project so your help and insight would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Alice

Re: TV SHOW

Well, how in the heck would we know if a park is family run for 3 generations? We stay in a lot of parks that are just run by workcampers just like all the rest of us RVers. We seldom see any owners.

Will there be royalties for those that participate? I can just see my movie career blossoming! :clown:

So you want to start during the Great Depression, experience the New Deal, the baby boomer generation and then the Great Depression. See...history does repeat itself.

When will you need my agents name?

Re: TV SHOW

Tex you let me know if there's any money in it. I can just see it now Carol and Tex on the "Big" screen. Well maybe it is only 50" but still. With John and Sallyberetta on the side! What do you think, do you think we could make it to Hollywood????????? :clown: ;) :) I don't know much about RV parks though because mostly we just stay on the "B". You know that place we're not allowed to mention or someone gets all excited.

I'm sure they will want someone with "On the Road" fulltime consultation type experience ($$$$$$$).

Ok ok Its Tex, Jim, and Carol with DL as the consultant. Of course with all the better halves too. I don't mind my name going last as long as my bank account gets credited. DL I am sure they will need an RV mechanic so we can't leave out Rod and the rest of the mechanics on here. I'm sure they need all our expertise on this show. Have they called us yet???????????????? I don't think so. :clown: :(

Well, they may need someone with acting experience. Shirley tells me at least once a week to quit acting like a fool! ;)

In that case Butch I think we all qualify since my husband continuosly tells me quit acting like a baby or another b word I won't put on here but he doesn't say that he says witch but I know exactly what he means. :clown: And of course I have to tell him to quit acting like a donkey  And Hollis we haven't won any awards because no one has seen what wonderful actors we are! I have been given a finger but not the fickle finger of fate award! You probably thought I wasn't old enough to remember that! But :( I am. :)

Re: TV SHOW

Butch, we're headed to Delta Downs on the 29th of August. Going to see the "Possum" George Jones. I don't think they have any table games there though. Only slots and ponies. Did you say a $50.00 machine. That would be a quarter of our total bankroll on one spin. No thanks. We'll take up a collection on here to get enough money to get those photos released. Don't worry Shorty well spread the wealth around when we get it. Dang why haven't they called yet??? :clown:

Re: TV SHOW

Carol, that was Hollis who mentioned the $50 slot. Pennies nickels and quarters are where you will find me. Unless on the tables! Then it can get interesting... :bleh:

Re: TV SHOW

Hey Butch, quarters is all I afford, but I do play progressive. That was FRIEND of mine who was playing the $50 slots, there gain I really don't know how true that is. He is retired car salesman, and we all know that they will stretch the truth.

Re: TV SHOW

Sorry Butch I thought you were telling me about how much money you spend to get all those free nights at LDL.  I like the pennies if it is no more than $.75 otherwise might as well play quarters or dollars. There is one at Delta Downs that I play for $.45, can't win much but I can play for hours on $20.00 most of the time. I like to play nickles for $.25 but not $3.40 per spin or what ever it is for those newfangled ones. I keep saying I was born in the wrong era. Why does everything have to be computerized? How do we know that it is truly random number generated? I think they are controlling everything, even our minds!!!!! :clown:   Paranoid! NOT ME! Oh yeah, back to the TV show as per the OP. Where did she go anyway? Where is our tv show. I thought we were gonna be celebreties! Guess she really wasn't interested in our kind of talent! :) :(
