Using Weight distritution Hitch w/sway control

I new to this site, and find that most the info I see comes from years of RV'ing experience. I traveled with a Pop-up for 20 years and I'm moving up to a TT. I'm looking at the Reese Dual Cam Weight distribution hitch /sway control and wanted to find out if you have to un-hook the sway control while backing and driving in the campground?

Hi Perry and welcome to the forum. It is recommended to loosen the sway control when backing or entering campgrounds with sharp turns. I generally forgot and never saw any damage from this but, i didn't have the reese hitch and can't even remember the brand I had. I would call or e-mail Reese.

you don't need the full weight disboution hitch just get a single sway bar it will be fine
