VIN doesn't exist?

Folks I am having a strange problem. The VIN on my 2005 Georgie Boy Pursuit does not show up as a valid VIN on line on Edmunds and Carfax etc. Any clues as to why? I am trying to sell it and a buyer is trying to do a car fax report and it wouldn't come up as valid, so I started searching this morning as well and same thing. I would appreciate any insight......thanks!

Did you buy it new? If the vin is not a valid number it should have come up when you purchased tags. I have heard that carfax does not do reports on MH. Keep us posted.

I think Nash is correct. If I remember correctly when I sold my 00 Diplomat the buyer had the same issue. He did get some type of report plus I did the open Kimono thing with him and let him talk to my insurance company to prove to him that I had only 1 claim (right front tire blow out 7K of damage) and they (insurance company) also ensured him the motorhome had not been thru a flood etc.
