    If you are new to the RV family or have been around for years. Please read the following message and check out the links before you buy a new RV.
    We have a 36' Fifth Avenue, which is made by Thor Industries. This unit has been in the shop for repair a total of 9 months out of the first 20 months we owned it. We still have a list of over 15 items that have not been successfully repaired. Our warranty is now up and Thor will not even respond to letters or e-mails sent to their Corporate headquarters in Ohio.
    Please look at the links posted below before you buy.
    We may not be able to get any help, but hopefully we can keep someone else from having the same nightmares.

    Greeting bhoover.

    Have you talked to anyone at the dealership or Thor Industries about the 15 items that still need to be repaired? Do you have a written record from the dealership or Thor that you wanted these items fixed before the warrenty ran out? If so, then what I would do is, make copies of the problems reported to the dealership and or Thor Industries along with any documentation from dealership and or Thor with the date of purchased and include the warranty information. Send this info to the BBB and your state Attorney General with a letter of what has been happening since you purchased the rig.

    Just wondered, bhoover, if you got any satisfaction with your trailer's manufacturer. Haven't heard from you for a short while.
