We have purchased a used 1996 Pace Arrow - we are having troubles getting the generator to power on anything inside the RV. The generator will start up no problems from the inside toggle switch and will stay running - just nothing powers on. Is there a switch we don't know about that tells the RV we are now powering over to generator? We cannot find one listed in our manuals or from just looking. Anyone else have this problem?

Is your shore power cord plugged into the outlet located in the same box as the shore power cord? That is how the power gets to the motorhome from the generator in most units. It threw me for a loop when I purchased my first motor home. If thats not the problem, please respond back to the forum so we can help you walk through this.
