hello was wondering if anybody knows if i can tow a 27 foot wilderness rv with my 2004 gr cherokee it has the tow pkg and i have a weight dist hitch------hope to get an answer ty gw

With the grand cherokee I would lean to yes, but the only real way to know is look in the owners manual.

What is the weight of the Wilderness? Which engine in the Cherokee? Also help to know the axle ratio? As Len said the owners manual should have tow limits or just goggle

I had a 2002 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V-8. I used it for a short time to tow a 24' (5,000 lb) TT. I also used the weight dist hitch with a sway bar. It towed it, but not very well. To me it just did not have a big enough wheel base to handle the job. Wind and passing semi's played havoc. If you used a Hensley or something along that line it may be better. I would not do again.
