Nice work tracking the leak down and thanks for sharing the Keystone link, that’ll definitely help others in the same spot.
Getting access under that shower can be the tricky part. Before pulling the whole pan, I’d double-check for any hidden entry points (under a bench, bed platform, or even from an exterior compartment). If you do have to go from above, take your time cutting through the sealant and lifting the edges so nothing cracks. Once you’re in there, at least a SharkBite fitting is a pretty straightforward fix just make sure the PEX is clean and fully seated before you button everything back up. Testing it under pressure before reassembly will save you a headache later.
Honestly, this kind of job reminds me a lot of installing a TV in a camper. It sounds simple at first, but then you realize the real challenge is dealing with tight spaces, hidden layouts, and figuring out how everything is routed. When I installed mine, I had to open panels and trace wires just to keep things neat and functional. Same idea here the repair isn’t the hard part, it’s getting to it cleanly.
On a side note, my TV actually came with some pre-built apps already installed, and one of them was
Magis apk it’s been a surprisingly great app to have on board. After dealing with fixes like this, it’s nice to just kick back and have everything ready to go without extra setup.
