I just switched trucks from a 1/2 ton chev to a f150. The ford box sides are much higher. I threw my hitch into the back and drove to a couple rv dealers to see about getting it installed. the first said I need to go from the rbw lil rocker to an x16 to compensate for the increased height. the second said no, there isn't a problem. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3rd to check with. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hello,
We mostly install Reese and Drawtite 5th wheel hitches. They have vertical height adjustments. You also have adjustment in the trailers kingpin. The new F 150 does have really tall side walls which does not make it easy to match up vehicles, but you should be able to make it work. Try to obtain about 6" of clearance and you should have no problem.
