1st... or foremost Hello

I'm a motorcycle racer. I am looking for something small, just enough to haul 1 maybe 2 racebikes, BBQ grille(most important), generator, cant leave out the roof top AC, a few tools, tables and chairs and that should be it. I drive a chevy suburban. My question is the tandem axle going to make that much of a difference with a 14ft trailer. My bike is under 500lbs, tools and generator wont come to that much. Just trying to justify the extra $$$ on the 2nd axle.

thanks in advance....

Re: 7x14 single or 7x14 tandem???

Welcome to the RVUSA Forum Jarion. The Jimmy Theory has always been, "If some are good, more are better." Having towed two motorcycles (a HD Nighttrain and my Suzuki Boulevard) up to Alaska this summer on a single axles trailer, I would definitely go for a tandem axle trailer. You can't have too much carrying capacity, because you always seem to keep adding stuff to bring along.

Hope this helps some and you won't repeat my painful experience. Post back and let us know what you do. :) :)
