Generally, you can hope to get about 25% off of MSRP. Of course, you might be able to do better if there is a year end push on, or the unit has been on the lot for a while or the new model year versions are coming out or the market is in the crapper due to spiraling gas prices.
A trick I use is to deal only in 'out the door' cost. It is amazing what charges find their way onto the final bill at some dealers. If you insist on 'out the door' cost, you know what the unit will really cost you. I know that my dealer tacks on a $80 'paperwork' fee. Really? Filling out the paper work is part of the job, dude. And besides, based on my experiances with them, that works out to about $8 per typo on the paperwork...
