Advice on appropriate tow vehicle

We presently have a 33 ft motorhome, but are thing of changing to a 5th wheel. Most 36 ft 5th wheels I have accessed on the net weight about 16000 lb., and that's without all the junk we need to put on it. Super duty trucks can tow around 13400 lb., so what do I really need for a tow vehicle.

You need a medium duty or higher truck. The larger fifth wheel trailers are not intended to be towed with pick-up trucks.

:laugh: Absolutely agree with Kirk. Don't let that book number of 13,400 fool you. Do the math and I bet you can't get 13,400 out of it.
