Allisonman, I purchased a salvage Motor Coach with a 4060R Allison Trans. The coach was in 2-3 feet of water and the trans oil is milky. I drained the fluid three times and ran the trans through all the drive positions between each oil change. The fluid looks much better but is sill contaminated. I did not drive the mororcoach more than 50 feet between each change because the Coach is not titled as of yet.
I did not change any trans filters because I do not have any knowledge of the location of the filters and I am waiting for a mataince manul that I ordered.
Please advise me on what I should do next inorder to save the transmission.
