I was descending a very steep and long grade when I suddenly realized that my "grade braking" wasn't working. The Duramax was at low RPM and I was being forced to use my foot brake. I stepped on the brake several times and couldn't activate the grade brake. Needless to say, I overheated my brakes getting stopped. I put the tranny in 4X4 low to descend the hill which worked great. But now the "tow mode" does not work either.
Any ideas....I'm in a very remote area on a fishing expedition.
