Hi,this whisky6,my son has a 2006 chevy/w/allison,the speedometer appears to be off by about 7% at any speed,his tire size is 33 inch,which is not stock,is there a simple way recalibrate the speedometer,i.e. driven gear change,axle ratio is 3.73,thank,s

Nothing is simple today. It probably is alectronic. The dealer has to hook it up to a computor and re-calibrate it if it can be done at all.

If you have or want:

Hypertech reprogrammers allow your to reset the calibration of speedometer and odometer due to tire changes. Other than that, your dealer can reset the truck, probably for a fee.
