autoformers/buck-boost transformers

I have been having goobs of electrical problems with my unit. I would like to hear from someone who uses an autoformer or a buck/boost transformer. How does it work and was it worth the price?

There are other problems beside low voltage, which is what an autoformer addresses. These other problems are addresed by the Surge Guard.

I'm happy with the Surge Guard in my motorhome so far, although getting used to that 2 minute delay before you can access the power takes some getting used to.
