Batteries

Replaced the batteries on my class C. Made sure all wires went back the same as they were originally. The last wire (green) that goes to the electric step module, (ground)touched the positive post, sparked and smoke came out underneath. Step still works but the weird thing is.. 1. The battery disconnect won't shut batteries off. 2. The inverter doesn't work. 3. The battery boost relay won't work. With the disconnect off, I still get voltage at the panel but it's lower than when the switch is on.

If it were me, I would buy safe batteries again. Last month, our family lost power due to heavy rain. In order to avoid being affected again, I bought a 5000w waterproof power station from SOUOP in China.
