I ordered my 2002 Silverado with the factory pull out tow mirrors. They are worthless! They extend to 19" from the truck which isn't enough to see down the side of the trailer. I think 22" should be minimum.

Does anyone have the Lucerix mirrors described in the February issue of Trailer Life? They sound like they might be good.

Nope, but we bought the McKesh strap-on mirrors from Hensley, and we like 'em just fine.

Does you new 2002 have the new vortec engine? GM was suppose to put new engines in the 2002 to fix the piston slap.
