Boondocking in Utah and Arizona

I'm going to be going near Brice Canyon in Utah and the Grand Canyon in Arizona, does anyone know anywhere that might be a nice place to boondock?

Does anyone have any information on that in general?

Thanks,

Boondocking in Utah and Arizona

Hey rvroller, welcome to the forum. There are plenty of Utah State Parks down by Bryce Nat'l Park that have camping sites w/o hookups. For instance on State Route 12 Escalante S.P. has great camping, or off the beaten trail, you can go to Kodachrome Basin S.P., about 15 miles from the town of Canyonville on Route 12. Actually the Bryce Nat'l Park Campgrounds offer great camping w/o hookups. All of the Nat'l Forests and BLM lands around Bryce offer good boondocking. As long as there is a pre-established dirt road and a rock fire-ring you can camp. You just need a small enough rig to get in and out of the fairly rough terrain. As far as the North rim of the Grand Cayon goes there is also plenty of Nat'l Forest and BLM land to boondock on as well as established Forest Service Campgrounds w/o hookups at Jacob Lake Arizona. Have fun, wish I was out there right now. :)  :clown:
