I have a 12000 lb 5th wheel. Does anybody know approx. how many amps the brake controller should show when the brakes are on

Hi Dennis, each brake should draw approx. 3 amps, but you brake controller does not show amperage draw, if your using one of the newer brake controllers, the numbers on the Prodigy is voltage to the brakes. Check here in the trailer resource library, FAQ section
