We just purchased an RV and need to widen the driveway. There are two issues here. #1 - we cannot use concrete due to local building codes. #2 - the side of the driveway is sloped for drainage. We decided to build a retaining wall using 12x6s, rebar, and reinforced the deepest part of the wall with deadmen. We intended to use crushed stone to complete it - figuring stone would allow the best drainage. We're trying to figure out if this is now strong enough to hold a motorhome. Can anyone offer any insight or advice? Thanks in advance.
