buying a used dp

next year my and i are going to buy a used dp. we've had several gas mh but never a dp.we want to pay no more then 30,000.we will start out part timing and later go full timing.anything to shop for or look out for, such as lenght,engine,transmission,floorplan or any other problems i might eliminate would be appreciated.semperfi bill

Hi Bill and welcome to the RVUSA forum. If you have has gassers before, diesels should be no surprise. Be sure and check the tires, batteries, and as Triple E (Steve) will tell you - get an oil analysis done. Good luck and post back to let us know how you do.

Welcome to the forum Bill. If you find a DP for under 30k I would think you will need to do a lot of work to it. Good luck and keep us posted on what you find.

I'm in with Chelse on this one. If you find a DP for under 30K, it will probably need a little TLC. Sometimes those RV's provide a great deal of satisfaction because of the work you've put into it. Enjoy
