Cambridge Fifth Wheel

I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 Cambridge Fifth Wheel by Keystone. However in doing research on the model I've found it was only manufactured for the model year 2006. My understanding was that it was intended to replace the Big Sky model at the top of the line. Yet today, Big Sky is still available and Cambridge seems to have been a one year product.
Does anyone have any idea why it failed or just what happened?
Reviews I've seen are all very good, does anyone have anything they could add on the quality of the Cambridge.
Is there a Cambridge Owners Group?

Thanks for any additional information that can be provided.

Re: Cambridge Fifth Wheel

hey bjkenny, welcome to the forum. Can't answer on why Cambridge is only a 1 year product. From what I've heard, seen and observed the Keystone products seem to be pretty good. :)

I would suggest you go to the Keystone website and look for the "contact us" section. Then either call or email them and ask.

Re: Cambridge Fifth Wheel

It came out way to big way to expensive. Note the lowered forward underbelly...... I could not get one over the railroad tracks near home.

Keystone has had a history of much glitter and little substance of late. Pay careful attention to the spring attachments and welds.... then compare something similar. I was looking at a Jayco Designer Series. A lower priced trailer but much more substantial running gear. Not as pretty inside but.....
