Hello everyone,
We are new to 5th wheels. We currently have an 38 ft Outback tow behind. We were in the process of purchasing a Montana 3931FB but after doing some reading and research I am afraid it is too much trailer for our truck. We are looking at moving down to a 3231CK which is 4 ft shorter and a 1000lbs lighter dry weight but it says the GVWR is almost the same as the 3931FB. We don't want to buy a new truck as the F250 is my husband's daily vehicle if we can avoid it. Our friend pulls his 3121FL Montana with his F250 diesel and has for over a year with no problem. The 3121RL and the 3231CK are almost the same except the 3231CK is about 750lbs heavier. We are so confused and now we don't know what to do. Is a Montana just not in our future? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
