Cargo Carriers

Howdy. We just got a 2007, 24' class C motorhome. Quite a step up from the 1976 Aristocrat Lowliner I'm used to. I was wondering if I could get some pros and cons on the cargo carriers that slide into the hitch receiver. I was thinking of getting one of these to carry firewood. Most places we like to go don't allow gathering wood. I found one that's rated to 500 lbs. that folds up out of the way when not in use. Thanks for any help.....rimshot

Should be good xcept for checking the load capacity of the hitch.

I see no problem with it as I doubt you will be carrying 500 lb of firewood. Just wrap it up so it want be falling off . Also remember that any weight added to the back can affect handleing but as I said doubt you will be adding much.

You should be fine. About the only con I can think of is remembering it's back there when backing up.
