CB Radio

RE: CB Radio

Just put a Cobra in my MH and wasn't used much on my last trip of 30 some days. Truckers about the only ones on the air but not much chatter like there used to be about "smokeys" and traffic problems. About the only useful item on the radio was a weather alert feature that would sing out if weather service sent an alarm about tornados and violent storms. It was useful on getting weather reports even in the middle of nowhere in Idaho, Utah, S.D. etc. Seems like we could always get a forecast when needed.

RE: CB Radio

We used to have a CB in the MH. I over heard some "cat Trading" and suggested to the wife a way to earn Gas money.
I barely survived. The CB wasnt so lucky

Momma listened real close when I had the CB. She doesn't think we need a new one. ;)

Re: CB Radio

I do like the weather alert on the cobra I have. Guess that has been the most useful thing about. Comes in handy at times when hunting a good local eating place or cheaper gas

Amybody heard from Hollis  Maybe he got the bill for the MH repair. Do we need to call 911? or maybe he might have that CB cord wraped around his neck after what he said about his better half talking

Re: CB Radio

well I did go to the casino and no I didn't win :( :( . I am still waiting to hear from the shop. On another post I said I went by there and they was working on the house batt. I told the tech it was the engine batt that keeps going dead not the house batt. So I know now it going to be expensive

Re: CB Radio

well it has been in the shop since 23 July. I know it has been awhile and I hope they charge by the hours of work and not for storage  I just hope I get her home this week. I get depress when I open the garage door and don't see her sitting there. I will give her a good washing and a wax job if it needed.
