CUMMINGS DIESEL FUEL LINE BREAKING

A COUPLE WEEKS AGO THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINE ON MY 2006 CUMMINGS 400 HP DIESEL ENGINE BROKE. HAD TO BE TOWED 60 MILES TO THE NEAREST CUMMINGS REPAIR DEARLERSHIP. I WAS INFORMED BY CUMMINGS THAT THERE WAS A BULLENTIN #0805 REFERENCE TO FUEL LINE MAY BREAK BECAUSE OF EXCESSIVE VIBRATION. THEY REPLACE THE FUEL LINE AND INSTALLED A BRACKET TO KEEP THE NEW FUEL FROM VIBRATING, THIS WAS PREFORMED AT NO CHARGE. SO IF YOU HAVE A CUMMINGS DIESEL ENGINE DO NOTIFLY CUMMINGS AND SEE IF YOUR VIN # IS EFFECTIVE.

Besides the hail damage, when I got to Dayton, OH my water pump was leaking. Cummins came to the rescue with their 100,000 mile warranty. I have 92,600 miles on my Dodge Cummins Turbo diesel and all I have to pay is $100 deductable for a new water pump/installation. :approve:
