Decal Preservation

I just got back from visiting my lonley 5'er in storage. Actually I ran (exercised) my generator and airconditioner. What really got my attention was how bad (faded/peeling) the 12 year old decals on the side of my RV are starting to look. Does anyone know of a good product to help preserve them? I have been using the fiberglass wax that I use on the rest of the trailer 2/3 times per year, but I don't think it is working any longer. :(

Re: Decal Preservation

You must not have covered storage. The decals are plastic and plastic rots in sunshine. UV is really bad on decals. any thing that hav UV protectant (ie. armorall ect.) will help save what is left .
