Decal removal?

Having a 2007 camper trailer I noticed the decals are shrinking and starting to peal a bit. Is there a safe way to remove these decals without damaging the siding or making it obvious there was ONE there. It's panel fiberglass I believe. I see it everywhere. We own a Nomad travel trailer.

I'll thank-you ahead of time for your responses.

Re: Decal removal?

I have taken labels, etc. off with WD-40. Spray on & let set overnite. I would try a tiny spot first on a place that is not very noticeable just in case it stained or damaged the finish.

RE: Decal removal?

Hi Everyone.
I've used a hairdryer to take off vinyl sign writing off a couple of work vans. That wasn't too bad but was a little slow.
What ever you do don't use anything sharp! Learn from my mistake. :)

Re: Decal removal?

Evening,
Try Goof Off, it's an all around cleaner/fixer/degreaser/etc. It's available at Home Depot or Lowes for about $5. It's great stuff and won't ruin anything. Works on hard surfaces, carpet, hair and more.
Good Luck,
David
