Has anyone stayed either at Grand Lake Golf and RV Resort in Orange Lake Fl. or Silver River State Park in Ocala Fl? Trying to decide between the two (if they have openings). Would like to hear your opinions. Thanks for the advice.

Yes, we know about the Silver River State Park in Ocala. It's fairly new has a very nice campground we rode our bikes in there many times last winter. We always stay at the Elite Resorts CG in Salt Springs. We can get easily between Palatka and Ocala and they have a very nice CG. Don't know what you like to do but if you like out of doors stuff like hiking canoeing and such that whole area is good. Good Luck, Randallman57

Hi my wife and I camped in the Silver river Park last Jan. and Loved it. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The staff were very friendly and extremely proud of the park.They keep it well maintained and are very knowledgeable of the area. The Silver Springs attraction is minutes away and worth a days visit.
