Does anyone use fold-down bunk?

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone out there who actually uses the fold-down bunk in a tt - often (always?) rated at 150lbs - for sleeping on?

Looking at a 2004 Travelaire Rustler's bunk today (it actually has two hinges to fold out) and it sure seemed flimsy.

Should we be looking at a different arrangement to accomodate growing boys?

Does anyone use fold-down bunk?

We did use one when we had growing boys. Now we live in a motorhome that doesn't have such and the grandchildren sleep on the couch or the dinette.
