Dometic fridge electric problem

Hello, new to the forum, looks like a great place.

I have a Dometic Model RM2652 fridge. It works fine on LPG, but will not cool on electric. The element gets hot, but there is no cooling at all. Was using thin extension cord, but switched to using the heavy cord from trailer directly to outlet, still doesn't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry it has taken so long for someone to answer this, and maybe you even have it fixed. I think your element is bad even though you say it gets hot. If it works on gas, it just needs the heat to boil the inside gases, and your elec. element is not getting hot enough.
