I just purchase 1998 allargo an I'm not sure about the AC/DC plug in. Do I use both of them when hooking up to shore power. Mj

Welcome to the forum Redfish. Dont understand the DC hookup you are asking about. You plug in the AC to shore power and the converter in your RV converts part of it to 12 V DC

Am also confused, Normally you have one plug for shore power(30 or 50 amp) and as above this also powers the 12volt charger for the house batteries. But there are some older systems that have an added a 110-120 plug for a second air conditioner or an extra 110-120 volt plug for more service. Perhaps a picture or two would help.
