Does the oven door come off? verry limited room to work

will the whole oven come out easily? I'm worried about the gas line

Oven door removal varies by make! Most require removing the outer skin and releasing the springs.
The entire oven is easily removed.......lift the stovetop, remove the screws that go horizontaly thru the stove frame and into the counter top. SHUT OFF YOUR LP GAS and remove the brass flare nut (3/4 or 13/16 wrench) where the copper gas line connects to the stove. Now the entire stove should slide right out of the cabinet.

You will probably find it difficult to locate parts for the appliances, if they are original. Are you working on the over, or on the furnace?
