Electronics in an RV

Ok everyone what do you use for a TV in your RV? I know this might generate a large anount of responses but what I'm asking is for the part time dry camper with no generator and occasional full hook ups?
I have seen TV/VCR combos, how do they work on 12v? How long? What other electrical appliances are there that run on 12v?

Hi Mdh4u, color tv/vcr are's are power hogs, when boondocking we use a small (5") black & white TV, a portable battery powered radio. With full hookups we just use our reg 19" color tv and vcr. Hope this helps.

LCD screen and DVD is the way to go for significant battery entertainment usage...

I found a voltage stabilizer at www.amperordirect.com which regulates battery's 10V~15V output to a clean 12V output, and it works fine with my Sharp LCD TV.
