engine ser#

here is a question that I need help on.I would like to find out the ser# for my engine.It is a2010 Damon with a 340 cummings ISB,I know it is on the engine but I cannot get to it without going under the rig.Cannot get into it from the rear as it is closed in.Now I do have a computor in the dash that I can togle for most items but have not found the data on the ser#.Maybe someone can help or have went thru this before.No I do not have a book on how the computor works,tried calling cummings but so far not a lot of help.Long letter but wanted to cover most of what I have did.

it should be on the data plate that is attached to the front of the engine ,, on the timing cover ,, usally on the drivers side ,, u can't access the engine by lifting the bed up ??? It will be a big tag that has all the parts service info on it ,, plus HP ,, fuel type and so on ,, hope this helps ,, one other way that u can find out the serial number is taking it to Cummins and they can plug their diagnostic tool in and retrieve the engine info off the engine computer ,, but that will prolly run u anywhere from 80 to 150 bucks for them to just plug it in ,, well that also depends on the cummins dealer location ,, let us know back :)

730,that would be my next try on the bed part,but I dont have a trap door under the bed.Will look and see if they have camouflaged it under the carpet.Maybe try it tomorrow.Wil keep you posted.Thanks for the reply

the whole bed should lift up to gain access to the top of the motor ,, alot do ,, some ,, the bed lifts up ,, then u have to take the engine cover off that is under the bed ,, if u can PM u'r vin number off u'r MH ,, i can go into cummins data base and see what the egnine serial number is :) maybe ,, sometimes it works ,, sometimes it does not :(
