engine stalling

hello there, i'm having a problem, i have a 1991 chevy corsica it is a great car but when you start it it runs good but when it warms up it always stalls when you put it in gear but when you have it park or nuetral it idles good can you please tell me what the problem could be

Try DIY web site under automobiles......they can probably help you. My guess is gas filter might be clogged a little.

Most likely the torque converter. Might also be the computer not picking up the in gear signal. Try disconnecting the torque converter electrical hook up at the trans to see if it elimitates the problem. If so you will have major trans expense
