For Rod or Ken or et al

Why does only one of my slides go out as I travel. It only goes out about 3/8" but I know thats not right. Three slides and only one does this. Any suggestions? There was a post about some switch any ideas? Help

PS. Rod...get off the beach or at least turn.

as u said ,, it is only one slide doing it ,, right??? u may have a stripped gear in the rack a pinion setup,, that is what is used to make it go in and out ,,, but i will do more looking into for u when i get home Sunday :) :approve:

*Thanks Rod. I wouldn't think its a stripped gear on a relatively new mh. 2008. Could be though. If the gear was stripped, would it bring it all the way in? It comes in good and tight but after several miles it slides out about 3/8". Hope you've had a great vacation.

One of my slides did that, turned out to be the 'switch' which you flip to bring it in manually was in the wrong position. On my coach, this 'switch' (actually a mechanical lever rather than electrical) was on the slide motor.
