My LP furnace turns on/off 15+ times an hour. Listening to my Coleman thermostat I hear the points click preceding each furnace operation, indicating that the thermostat is actually controlling the on/off of the furnace. This happens at all outside temperatures from 15 to 60 degrees with the thermostat at about 65-70. I've adjusted the 'anticipator' slide from high to low with little change. Any ideas to decrease the sensitivity of the thermostat, or to correct the problem? It gobles my battery's power.
