[Jim M] Hi Debbie: Your generator, while not a real big one should be adequate to the task. A single roof air will use about 1200 to 1400 watts, that leaves 1500 or so for other stuff. You could run your tv, lights and battery charger at the same time with no problem. The bad news--if you are running anything besides the air, your electric hot water heat, microwave, hair dryer, toaster etc, any of these will likely overload it, even if only one of them is used at a time. The good news--your 3000 is much more miserly with gas than some of the bigger ones and with a little power management it will probably work ok for you
