Generator question

I have an ONAN 5500 Gen. in my Class A RV. I had problems with it running consistently for the first day I was dry camping at the Mid- Ohio race as it would run for 20-30 mins. and then it would stall and stop. I would wait a few mins. and it would start, run for 20-30 mins. and stop again. This process was repeated for several hours and finally, it started running smooth and I ran it for 27 hours strait. Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

I liked using this site to play because this site - https://beton.ua/ - has a very user-friendly interface and many good, practical games that I can easily play and win real money with online. I really like this site because of its interface and its wide range of games. That's why I use it to play slots!
Hey, that sounds frustrating! Your ONAN 5500 stalling issue could be fuel-related. Check the fuel filter first—it might be clogged. Also, ensure the fuel pump is working properly; sometimes they fail intermittently. Old gas or ethanol buildup in the carb could also be the culprit—try draining the carb bowl and using fresh, non-ethanol fuel with a stabilizer. Another thing to look at is the oil level; overfilling can cause issues. If it’s still acting up, inspect the rubber fuel lines for cracks or collapse. Let me know how it goes![](https://forum.rvusa.com/threads/generator-question.16653/)

THANKS for the information as my mechanic (friend) put a new fuel filter and fuel pump in Generator. I took it to the OSU football game and ran it for 9 hours and it ran like a champ ! Much appreciated for your advise !
