HELP! 5th wheel height problem

[Steve P] I have a 28 ft Springdale 5th Wheel, Just bought a 3/4 ton Dodge, was pulling with 1/2 Dodge. The new truck is about 8 inches taller and the back of the trailer is very close to the gound. I am worried about going in/out of driveways. I can not change the height of the hitch on the truck or trailer. Any suggestions. I thought about mountings some swivel wheels on the bumper of the trailer, I need help. Thanks Pappy99@aol.com

HELP! 5th wheel height problem

[tom] Check with your RV dealer about "flipping" the axles on your fiver. Basically it&#039s just moving the axles from the top of the springs to under the springs, causing the trailer to ride higher.

[mark c] Pappy why cant you change your hitch setup? Wouldnt that be the safe way and best way to go??
