Cliff, We have had exciting, scary, bizarre, and disturbing experiences, but my wife and I can't recall anything really funny. Some of the places we have stayed at, caused us to laugh later, but I guess they are better characterized as laughable, opposed to funny.

DL.....You look back....Ya gotta laugh
My Castle on Wheels
A Castle on wheels is where I want to be
Just rollin’ down the road, livin a life thats free
Seein’ the sights all along the way
And making new friends each and every day
Livin in an RV is a lot of fun
But funny things can happen when you’re on a run
Don’t take things for granted it’ll bite you on the butt
RVs can make you feel like a nut
Filled up the tank and forgot about the cap
Backing in our site I saw the fuel spillin out
I ran to the window to get my wife to stop
Diesel fuel was pourin out but the fuel flap was locked
Music
A strong wind was a blowin as we went down the road
We heard a loud bang on the side of the coach
The awning flipped out and hit us on the side
Now it gets locked before we go for a ride
Chorus
Loaded up the washer went out to eat
Came back later found water in the street
It filled up the shower then down on the floor
Won’t forget to open the gray valve anymore
Music
Pullin out of a site in Branson one day
My wife was walkin back from the dumpster up the way
She started screamin Oh what a fright
The power cable was plugged and it was getting tight
Chorus
Putting out the slides on a cold and rainy day
A drawer got caught and its face got ripped away
Now I make sure that I shut all the drawers
So I won’t rip the face off a drawer anymore
Music
Down in the Ozarks hookin up the hose
Pulled the black tank handle let the stinky water flow
What a supprise the hose wasn’t in the ground
Black water was flowin thru the campground
Chorus

This year we purchased a 1987 Club Van XL and 1985 Regal Prowler on eBay. On a wing and a prayer, we flew to Colorado to pick up the 20+ years old rig. The owners picked us up at the Denver airport, drove us to the rig, took our money, gave us keys and wished us well. We smiled, thanked them and blithely drove off. We were fogged in on the interstate in Colorado, lost our trailer brakes and dash lights in New Mexico, spouted a roof leak in the Panhandle, and our tires starting going flat on the Llano River. I must say, it was a bit scary at times.

I laugh about it now. How stupid we were ... but we had fun.
