Holes in Aluminum Panels

I have a 1998 FR Sandpiper and the Panels on both slideouts has holes on each end. Has anyone else had this type of issue?

Thanks,
Tom

Are the holes worn in from sliding out or somehow damaged?

Hey fatboy14, welcome to the forum. Sounds like another negative for Forest River (FR). I haven't heard of hoes in the end of slides yet. However, Forest River has lots of issues. Check out General RVing: Forest River Issues, thread.

What do these hles look like? Are they screw holes where screws have fallen out? Do they look like holes caused by oxidation (aluminum doesn't rust)? You need to be a little more specific because holes are caused by many different problems.

Sounds like water sat between the metal and insulation. I usually find this when there is a leak along the outer edge of the roof.
